MBP no sound (grey volume icon)

my new mbp messed again. volume icon grey , there no sound. when plug in headphone, icon become black again. it's hardware switch malfunction, happens iphone too. have kind of ****** problem other thousands of dollar expensive electronic devices?

apple's hardware , os terrible, if can't continue come innovative designs, it's gonna fade away again sooner or later.
 

did check see output device chosen in settings? (when headphones not plugged in btw)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
