Lion, WIFI, and Linksys, and what works for me

ever since installing lion 2009 i5 imac has had problems wifi connectivity after waking sleep. usual routine is, wake sleep, have wifi long enough mail download new email , gone. icon either grays out; common; or stay lit attempts browse met "looking ...."

called apple support, claimed because using wep wasn't. based on description of password (a series of digits). long story short, apple support useless. when wasn't became fact had linksys , went downhill there. have ipad , dell laptop (work) have no issues - under sl.

did try , settle on wpa personal aes wpa personal tkip. have wpa personal listed alternatively wpa pre shared key.

anyway, me works far. fail since posted
 

i'm having similar problems running on wpa2 personal , wpa enterprise networks. sent in bug report apple, i'll post if ever me...

solution works until fix (update) comes out.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
