Does OS X require reboots?

i'm avid linux user , use windows. bought first mac :d it's pretty common knowledge windows needs rebooted periodically keep running like...as okay windows can run. linux boxes, however, can stay on indefinitely assuming not replace kernel.

question is, os x act more linux in regard, or windows?

you don't have reboot it, after couple months may start running little slow, long regularly install updates , restart when updates require you can leave on long want.
