iMac Still Running Slow.

i think know problem is, need confirm me.

so, installed 8gb of ram 2-3 weeks ago (total of 12gb ram now), , still runs slow. couldn't figure out was, til realized way cpu usage.

yesterday, imac running slow again, , checked istat pro widget, , saw:

^using 70% of cpu , in processes section, pluginprocess @ 158%!!

couldn't figure out plugin process is, until landed on safari preferences.

under security tab, in web content section, there 4 options checked. unchecked 1 of them last night: enable plug-ins.

slowing computer down? safari enabling plug ins problem?

so, unchecked option last night, , i'm using computer, haven't noticed slowing down or anything.

did mention it's safari , using flash, , it's best me use different web browser.

thoughts on this, or on think problem be?

you can try figuring out buggy plug-in enabling them 1 one , looking when cpu usage goes up.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
