Excel 2011 Weirdness

hello fellow macrumorians!

using office mac, excel. today working in excel when encountered weird behavior:
whenever try put border on several cells using bordersettings-menu (not button in menu bar, since need specific border thickness), example border line separate summands form sum of simple calculation, , cells formatted border have different font sizes, after selecting border line type when clicking 'ok' following message pops up: "font size must between 1 , 409".
however, problem not appear if cells have same font size.

why matter size cells contents have when adding border? can problem fixed in way?

did search internet, came across unanswered questions, or such compared similar problems solutions did not work.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
