When Is the "Best" Time to Upgrade to the Latest OS X?

hi everyone,

have 2011 imac , mbp lion 10.7.0, , noticed thread mentioning people's difficulty video/streaming 2011 imacs running lion. have atv 2 , have had lot of problems after display sleeps on imac (or tries to). has me feeling maybe should have stuck snow leopard until bugs worked out of new os.

question is: savvy mac users not switch latest os x until x.x.2 version? running brand new os x foolish idea?

it's not "foolish" idea upgrade. if want initial bugs ironed out , whatnot, never hurt wait version or two. me, live life on wild side. :p

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
