Turned OFF iCloud

i have spent many hours trying icloud sync contacts , ical events between iphone , macbook air. nothing worked. i've tried everything: delete events / contacts, imported saved contacts. on, off, etc. etc.

make long story short, i've turn off icloud features , permanent damage loss of few ical events. can nicely sync via cable itunes.

if can post link or step-by-step on how enable icloud works without duplicating contacts , ical events, great.

far either doesn't sync @ (laptop has no sync button can find), duplicates contacts, or deletes contacts updating older data.
 

if enable icloud syncing of calendars , contacts, have disable syncing of calendars , contacts in itunes avoid duplicates.

had same problem calendars @ first, , solved me.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
