Replacement keyboard not working?

about month ago, i've managed spill juice onto macbook pro. i've drained it, opened , cleaned it. after waiting day, i've fired again , everything worked perfectly.

after 4 days, keyboard short circuited , got stuck on 1 key couldn't anything. i've tried cleaning keyboard , ended killing whole keyboard (including power button).

i've ordered new 1 off ebay, installed unknown reason it not work. it's pretty same thing - no keys , no power button.

issue?
logic board works perfectly external keyboard not having power button annoying.

new keyboard incompatible (the pins on connector seemed tiny bit thinner)? think keyboard came same kind of macbook different model. or logic board issue?

attached files:

no keys , no power button = disconnected keyboard. unless caps lock lights up, need push kbd cable in further. can put piece of tape on pull connector.

left of connector, there's cypress semiconductor keyboard controller. *may* problem, in extreme cases of water damage. can pick replacement chip digikey right around 7 bucks. save option if you're desperate, since it's not problem.
