Missing icons

i followed instruction here http://thegadgets.net/2011/10/13/jailbreak-ios-5-using-sn0wbreeze-2-8-beta-8/

jailbroke 3gs(old bootrom) ios5 sn0wbreeze-v2.8b8, synced , functional. (restored backup, not "new iphone")
seems working @ point.


launched cydia, preparing filesystem (cydia exit when complete), , went home screen without default icons (settings, phone,contacts,camera,cydia,message,etc missing).
tried search these, not able return anything. phone still able receive call.
pressed power+home reset = still no default icons.

idea why?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
