Emails not waking my phone up, but texts do?

ok. got iphone 4s morning else. set phone up, easy. when phone asleep , email. have idea until turn phone on , check email. shouldn't normal. had wife send text phone while asleep , hello have text. woke right up. checked notifications, on. i've been sending emails wifes computer , phone sleeps there "occupy wall street protester". missing something? :confused:
other issue, love phone. got black 32gb sprint. ups delivered morning around 10. i've been living up.

expected behavior. iphone give mail chime not wake phone. (thank god! i'd feel sorry spammy email accounts)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
