iCal sync via MobileMe on 10.6.8 broken

has else experienced issues syncing ical on mobileme since icloud launch?

i've (twice!) created new calendar on ical under os x 10.6.8 provide list of daily reminders @ different times family member's medicine scheduling. need calendar synced across desktop , ios devices receive reminder regardless of @ time.

part way through creating new calendar, os x initiated mobileme sync, , new calendar promptly vanished thin air. little perturbed, set recreating calendar scratch, , once had completed it, initiated mobileme sync. checked iphone (running ios 5) see if calendar had synced, there no sign of it. tried manual sync noticed calendar had apple's default "warning sign" triangle-in-a-circle icon next it, implying sync problem. nothing could force calendar sync, quit ical , relaunched it, @ point software initiated own sync, , newly created calendar promptly vanished thin air again.

if temporary hiccup due teething issues, i'd annoyed i'd live it. however, if looks apple have somehow permanently broken sync features mobileme users not using lion in whole heap of trouble, have number of reasons why machine not upgraded lion @ point in near future.

has else experienced similar issues recently? i'm starting feel whole migration business icloud throwing huge spanners in works apple may not prepared fix, given track record of abandoning "legacy" support.
 

yep. definitely. there's bunch of threads around mm syncing taking proverbial dump since icloud launch -- many of them name in them. ;)

blame on high demand , load on apple's servers.

went far call applecare morning , tech didn't have straight answer me except had few such calls today already. know issues.

yesterday having issues syncing @ ip4. calendars, contacts, bookmarks -- nothing coming phone. stuff syncing across computers though (ical was, , remains, quirky however). went far remove mobileme account phone , re-add it, have no contacts last 12 hours or so.

contacts , bookmarks synced phone. ical syncing still slow crap, if works @ (ical syncing works bit differently contacts/bookmarks since it's caldav stuff now). need little patience while things iron out , load settles.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
