Auto battery charge?

i'm using mbp 2.4 ghz intel core i5, , want know if there application allows macbook automatically start/stop battery charge @ levels.

i'm asking if there apps that:
1) leave a/c charger plugged in, not charge unless reaches battery percentage (e.g. 5%)
2) once reaches percentage, charger start charging
3) after battery level reaches percentage (e.g. 100%) it'll stop charge, keep charger plugged in cycle can start again

, app automatically without human supervision

such app awesome! please reply!
 

why want that? it's utterly useless. you'd stressing battery , adding cycles it, harming in long run.

isn't old days of ni-cad rechargeable batteries had horrible memory effet, modern day, lithium-polymer battery.

can leave computer plugged in time without harming battery. unplug in once week or give battery exercise.

macbook pro's been plugged in 80% of it's life, going on 4 years old, battery health 75%. that's pretty healthy 4 year old battery.

, anyway, no software app able you're asking, charging hardware controlled, not software.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
