Upgrading RAM question.

hey guys, have late 2009 27" imac (3.06 core2duo). i've upgraded lion on it's launch day, , i've been experiencing bit of lag ever since. still have stock 4gb ram came imac. however, have ordered 4 more through crucial, , i'm waiting ship.

of own same imac me, have been experiencing lag? (especially launchpad). , also, how ram average person need on computer, that's still running on core2duo? 4gb isn't doing me anymore. , i'm not sure if upgrading ram boost performance much. i'd hate have buy whole new computer up-to-speed current software.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
