ATV2 and Home Theater Connect for Dummies

hope out there can me set atv. consider myself pretty mechanical, i'm not sure i'm understanding av jargon.
home theater setup professional don't want spend more$$ have him this!
appears! cables run through denon avr-1909.(lots of ins!) have hd dvd player, cable box, wii, main thing note final connection receiver samsung tv hefty blue cable (component video cable).
want assume can hook atv2 denon hdmi cable hdmi (dvd) port. (sound video) pass tv other devices seem do! right?? why need other cable (hdmi) connect tv? isn't receiver sending hd video tv now?

thing discovered when first got atv directly connected tv using hdmi cable (after selecting source hdmi1) got atv show , all, no sound.
don't think set best, correct? since doesn't take advantage of home theater, right?

lastly, please address sound issue since want stream music in high quality way. (i read having audio separate tv can play music separately)
 

just hdmi apple tv of receiver. denon handle rest (video tv, , if you've set it, audio tv or music speakers).

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
