Problem with playing videos

issue - cannot play videos since last quicktime update. sound black screen. believe (i hope) due mjpej codec being removed. how can rectify error?
have quicktime player version 10.0 (1238).
 

i can not view videos apple's website. when click on 1 divx banner pops up. think got rid of divx, , not when click video says "missing plug-in" along wait circle. haven't been able view these quicktime videos sometime, software updates current.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
