so installed lion less 10 days ago.

main boot drive won't boot anymore - i'm running on firewire 800 backup presently.

disk utility claims can't repair disk , should mount , data prior reformatting rebuild os.

problem: disk utility won't mount drive.

backup less week old saved items boot drive morning can't to.

know of software perform emergency mount of drive?

not shaping great weekend me - fighting head cold , this. oof.
 

from limited info have, sounds internal hard drive faulty due hardware failure. depending on type of failure might not find software able mount partition , recover files. if still covered under applecare need call apple possible.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
