...it doesn't want go.
1. when ssd in computer, tried install osx on it. disk wouldn't show in disk utility.
2. plugged ssd usb enclosure. plugged win7 machine , formatted in fat32 drive number z. win7 machine can see disk.
3. put ssd inside mbp , attempt install. can see it, , when try format again can install osx on it, says: "posix error: cannot allocate memory"
4. try reformat ssd through terminal. no dice.
5. plug ssd enclosure , install osx via usb no hard drive inside mac @ all. installs successfully.
6. run os through usb off ssd, no hdd or ssd inside mac. works dream -- it's how posting now, seems fast , stable.
7. put ssd mac's innards , attempt booting. screwy behaviour on kernel portion of boot screen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6cmrivciz8
- if there install dvd in here, (5 min or so) load dvd , attempt install osx, not able see ssd inside it, though contains working os, , not able proceed.
- if there no install dvd in there, hang while in grey screen , kernel panic.
