Update app from phone to fix?

hi. when updated ios5 (like many people) lost apps phone. read can restore them through app store on phone going "purchased" doing update. question is, restore data in app before updated ios5???

please tell me data isn't lost! have invoice app of work hours past 2 months, , without data in big trouble! help/advice/tips making sure app , data on iphone 4?!!

 

i don't believe re-downloading app going bring data. way data restore backup.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
