MacBook attempting to connect to offline Mac

my macbook pro attempts connect mac pro. can not find application responsible , far can tell, have no references mac pro. last connected tower pull on data. disconnected , shut down mac pro before leaving town.

message:
"there problem connecting server "mac pro".

ideas on how can resolve this?
 

open system preferences->users & groups, "logon options" (bottom of left hand pane) , make sure not set join domain. plus in same users & groups pane click on "login items" mini-tab , make sure drive not in startup items.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
