Canon scanner/printer issue

hi all,

have mid 2011 27" imac running 10.7.1. had move things around in office. in doing so, unpluged everything, including canon mp640 printer/scanner. remember being able scan using printer wirelessly on 10.6 , 10.7 , far can remember, before move on 10.7.1. went print yesterday, , got communitcation error. no problem, went printer, re-found network , printing part went fine. wanted scan document, not printer not showing in preview or image capture, not getting scan tab in system pref under print&scan. tried downloading lastest drivers printer canon.com , still nothing. hoping suggestions.

 

for me, deleting printer , adding in print , scan has solved type of problem, in particular found when moving lion updating drivers, deleting printer, adding in solved problem attached canon printers (mp640 @ home , irc5870 multifunction copier/printer @ work).

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
