Trouble getting iPhone to work with new Mac

i have searched 2 days , still not found i'm looking for, please gentle :)

wife has iphone 4 has not been molested in way. used itunes on pc laptop add music, manually managed library because wanted added control.

bought wife macbook pro , formatted old pc laptop , gave nephew birthday. i'm sure can see going.

wants add few more songs iphone via macbook, itunes gives error message needing erase first because iphone synced computer (even though manually managing library!).

lot of music cds ripped using itunes on other computer, don't have handy back-up , rather not have re-rip/re tag/etc. rest of mp3 files spread out on several external hard drives pita try put manually.

also, catch mortal hell if loses playlists/address book/texts/photos/etc etc.

don't need or want itunes copy iphone library mac. want let me add new music without messing on iphone.

have researched several 3rd party software options, have yet find 1 purports need.

long term want use itunes because buy fair amount of music through it. have read songs bought through itunes can transferred after letting wipe iphone, other "stuff" proving problematic.

way out of mess use 3rd party software (if can find 1 ie playlists/contacts/texts/photos/etc) copy on mac, let itunes wipe iphone, import of stuff mac itunes, have itunes put on iphone? can add couple of new songs?!?!

bewildered simple turning such time vampire. surely there easier way. input appreciated.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
