Mac Mini - A good solution for us?

hi guys,

thinking may able kill 2 birds 1 stone here...

need part time designer new machine office, need proper central storage place our static files , dynamic development projects.

possible / viable both of these in 1 go getting mac mini server? designer use lion in normal way single user , have server running silently in background different user , feeding needs of rest of office?

maybe more viable standard mini , install server on more powerful imac , use central storage?

advice needed really, need a) new machine , b) decent solution design / development office share including git repositories, static files etc...

very possible. long user doesn't shut down before going home. or reboot finish install while accessing important file.

it's best keep servers , workstations separate, because of downtime , reboot issues can caused.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
