HARDcase? g-form?

all hardcases found far plastic...and while seem offer protection against dropping it, don't trustworthy regards pressure on flat surface - say, step  / sit  on bag mba in it
i'm looking tombihn brain cells or sfbags, booq viper, sturdier , waterresistant or better even, waterproof? don't want giant aluminum suitcase or looks worth stealing. best fits old backpack.

thing:
soft, floppy g-form sleeve? watched review soldierknowsbest, he's torturing ipad hammer , jumping on it!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efg76535aty
wtf...is real?? find unbelievable. 1 thing though that's not tested sides , corners - he's never testing g-form letting ipad fall right onto corner or getting sharp kick side...
also, g-form protect against sudden impact or against slower pressure?

i'm interested in hard cases too.

i'm not sure why rare. seems weird me soft sleeves out there. if using sleeve in bag books , other stuff, want hard, thin, $1k plus computer wouldn't squashed , abused.

guess in bag, of 'rugged' soft sleeves work fine, still more hard case options nice. watch thread.
