Dual monitors: 27" iMac and 27" Thunderbolt Display

hi guys,

wanted share new setup forum may interested. added apple thunderbolt display 27" imac i7. write software living, i've been wanting add second monitor while , decided go when thunderbolt display came out.

thoughts far:

- love screen real estate. it's nice able have developer tools on 1 screen , reference material, e-mail, etc. on other one.

- ended using atd "primary" screen imac "secondary." did because didn't want keep having move displays around when needed access imac's superdrive. being on right, it's never blocked.

- i'm using atd macessity lowkey stand. ends making atd ever higher imac -- maybe 1/8 of inch. don't notice it, wanted mention in case wondering.

if has particular questions, fire away.

i moved 27" imac right of atd keep dvd drive clear , set atd primary. allows me have imac low enough on it's stand lines atd , lets me use atd mbp necessary (i bought separate tb cable connect atd imac - nice if keep them both plugged in , switch, oh well). :cool:

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
