Continuing LION disasters

get macbook pro 15"
use lion recovery assistant tool make 4 gb usb drive
replace drive momentus xt
restore drive factory spec
wait 13 hours drive encrypt filevault - sleep
run updates after encryption complete
reboot thunderbolt firmware upgrade
complete update
login
enter password , login
unable boot lion
boot external drive, drive unable repaired (not shocked encrypted).

now......recovery mode, i'm skeptical.

far have say, lion has been complete pos, , apple's vista. observation not based on 1 issue, few big ones.

have ideas? found 1 result on google same issue - , there no response on apple forums.

so, clarify after talking apple support.

data can recovered if forget key.. or if hacks email.. security reasons, there no way unlock recovery partition , run disk tools.

have unlock drive erase, recovery partition capable of passing information.. it's decision not able run disk tools native recovery partition or mounted volume / target disk mode.. hey.. if gets machine , compromises email.. no problems getting data. genius. job apple.

lion install - 2 mb second down.. not bit, byte. hour , 20 mins dl, 30 mins install/ that's fast connection - , whole process made much shorter including recovery media. of course, can overpay $50 disk should have come machine. pity isn't on raging fast connection.. luck restore. genius. job apple.

wait, don't configure system yet.. because take 12 hours encrypt.. , though states can work on machine, better not finicky. genius move full disk.. arduous procedure save few seconds of access. allow choice no? no way, our way or out.

can spend few hours (after sure can boot!) configuring system.

can make time machine backup (but better not encrypt because knows whether recoverable no disk tools can used in case of emergency, leave data unsafe!) can make disk attached airport base station.. oh wait.. no can't.. though there realistically no difference between , time capsule... eh, spend more.

can use machine , pray every day nothing happens disk.. oh , keep perpetually attached disk laptop since there's no way check disk , getting proper responses.

cross machine clones no longer work properly.. enterprise job got lot harder.
sounds great plan.

on all.. great job apple.. , being shortsighted , blowing 'it works' idea right out window.
if of above steps fail, going @ days.. , unsure if work.

lion huge mistake... start finish.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
