TV as Display

i decided use sony tv video/audio display linked new mbp , have bought adaptor connect mbp mini display port outlet being hdmi, thinking have connect hdmi socket on tv extension cable.

there spare hdmi socket on tv, intended dvd player when plug in pc extension cable nothing happens. there vga socket meant pc, chose go better quality of hdmi. thinking connect hdmi .

have boobed or possible tv working additional display using hdmi.
 

should work. unless adapter doesn't work. mbp works hdmi. vga doesn't support audio. hdmi does.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
