PowerBook G4 and iBook G4 - worth it?

hi

i've found guy in local classifieds selling ibook g4 , powerbook g4 £30 pair. says given them salvage harddrives faulty.

looking cheap laptop bit of web design on, , thought perhaps take these , try repair them. says chargers , batteries still there, thing missing ram , harddrives.

know it's hard without information on faults, how tough think these running? , worth £30?

 

do know specs on these machines?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
