GTAIV Issues on MBP

ok, i'm @ loss one.

got myself spiffy new macbook pro. 2.2ghz i7, 6750m, 4gb ram, , good. have bootcamped windows 7 ultimate, , date , running smoothly.

however, can't life of me grand theft auto iv running @ respectable level, doing head in. can run else fine , @ max settings, such crysis 2, batman, cause 2, etc... gtaiv runs it's stuck in quicksand, makes no sense.

i've tried various drivers graphics card, made sure bare essential processes have been killed off, tweaked command line settings game, re-installed twice , tried every version, out of box 1.0.0.7. nothing.

this: run @ native resolution (1680x1050) , if set *lower* performance gets *worse*.

have ideas on how fix this? looking forward christening gtaiv, since went old desktop can barely run above 15fps (core 2 duo) first ever quad core laptop, it's bizarre runs *worse* on machine more powerful.
 

according this site, on high you'll average of 28 fps. on low settings, won't average 60fps.

kind of performance getting?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
