4G/LTE worth it?

hey everyone. have been debating 4s/5 last month , i'm still unable make decision. on verizon htc incredible , hear talk lte , lte that. fast?? in 4g area no 1 know has lte phone don't know it's capable of. want hold on see prime bringing table, in honesty think i'm more interested in software/specs. wife has i4 , clarity of thing unreal! don't use phone alot other essentials. email, texting, calling, fb, twitter, browsing (but when have wifi), , few other odds , ends apps. have wifi @ work , @ home , 3 kids once leave work go home , that's i'm @ remainder. taking advantage of lte or doesn't interest now? guess i'm little hesitant locked 3g phone 2 years. btw, wife , grandfathered unlimited data plan there's reason waiting on prime. can stop insanity in head??? lol

it depend on service in area, left at&t go droid , burned upgrade go thunderbolt because of lte. has been major disappointment. when works, it's wicked fast. me, works 1% of time. rest dropping data connection, dropping 3g, or getting terrible battery life.

disappointed in verizon's inability address terrible hotspot performance after having given unlimited data plan paying etf on 2 tbolts , switching at&t. apple onto not jumping on lte bandwagon. in 2 years, maybe. right now, it's immature , unreliable. i'd rather have reliable 3g connection 12 hours crappy, intermittent faster connection 6 hours.
