Visible square outline on iMac 27" display

this tricky 1 explain here goes. got 27" imac few weeks ago - love it. however, there's 1 small issue. week after bought it, noticed there's outline of square on 1 half of display - it's faint it's there. can seen against background ranging white dark grey , can seen during videos , games if focus on area around it.

tried take picture of can see , have attached , tried outline issue (it taken on iphone 4 apologises poor quality). gets more curious when found out outline in same place , size google chrome app fit inside of , think plug may have come out while app displayed, doubt cause issue.

have tried googling issue cannot find single issue match - don't want go apple , explain issue because messed ipad 2 replacement (even though have apple care). issue doesn't ruin latest apple purchase because it's beautiful thing, nice know cause of issue , if there's solution.

appreciate advice, or history on issue. thank you, steven.

it "ghost" image app use lot on same place on screen. bet web browser(edit: ah chrome..didnt need read whole post). dont worry, "burn" effect can seen on 2008 imac model. not permanent. goes way when display has displayed else time, or have display shut down period of time.
