last month, saw leak of design specification claimed iphone 5. chinese case manufacturers seem betting on design they've started producing cases based on design document. we'd requested , received early renders based on case designs.

given how predictive case designs have been in past, commissioned ciccaresedesign create high quality renderings made closely possible original leaked case designs. measurements taken against original case design leaks, , imported 3d modeling software.

designs show manufacturers areas need open or exposed cases, reveal little else. in past, has caused misunderstandings future features. ipad 2 cases seemed suggest port @ top of device, turned out space microphone hole. similarly, there few areas on iphone 5 case designs open interpretation. click on images larger view.

elongated hole home button has suggested home button may become more oval in shape. direction our designer took well. it's possible, however, home button retain round shape , apple has allowed space swiping across home button in left right or right left manner. these's been speculation apple allow such gesture users switch between multitasking apps.

exact screen size aspect hard determine on design drawings alone. our renderings have enlarged screen size space shown on case designs. but, apple has introduced "swipe down" top of screen notification system in ios 5 benefit finger-space near top of screen in order register. so, may screen isn't quite large depicted cases, , apple allowing space these swipes. representation here, however, show 4 inch screen preserves apple's current screen ratio. rumors have suggested apple may enlarging screen size in upcoming iphone models.

of device has tapered edges makes closer ipod touch. well, there had been rumors apple abandoning glass backing of iphone 4 , instead moving aluminum design.

final dimensions of new design calculated be: 4.33" x 2.36" , .27" thickness @ top , .21" @ bottom in comparison, iphone 4 dimensions are: 4.5" x 2.31" x .37". new design shorter existing iphone 4, wider , thinner.

assuming leaked case designs accurate, iphone 5 should close in appearance these renderings. iphone 5 expected released in september or october of year.

i havent bought iphone since 2g (mostly coz apple waits year before releasing here) if looks this, i'll have find way , thing way possible :eek:

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
