Help! Beast Macbook Pro runs like a turtle!

hi everyone! have 2010 macbook pro intel core i7, 8gb ram memory, , 500mb hard drive. os version date (10.6.8).

animation student, , bought not cheap laptop run autodesk maya 2011 , photoshop cs5. when run maya, (even no other program running) has tendency lag clicking , actions. not use safari, use firefox.

hard drive has 349 gb available.


suggestions macbook run faster?

your computer maxed out already. find out slowing down machine in activity monitor > proceses > sort cpu. if it's maya you'll need more powerful machine.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
