Apple Works

this may old timers, i've got apple works problem.
since 1991 i've been putting eggs in 1 basket using used called claris works set data base contacts etc.
i've backed religously whole time.
upgraded lion, , guess it, lion doesn't support it.
managed pull whole file, can't find way open or import thing else.
i've tried use open office, i'm not sure since it's data base.
have ideas on how function again?
man, whole basket of eggs 1991, , got lots of stuff there need.
 

so want go apple works whatever lion supports? have what? open office? it? long time apple works user until went college , hand use office.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
