Running Snow Leopard off a firewire drive

i have lion on mac, have programs not compatible , makes me plain mad. wanted put snow leopard on computer , keep lion...i wouldn't use snow leopard don't want sacrifice more of internal hard drive space it...as have bootcamp on taking 250gb leaving on 750gb lion...if put snow leopard on internal hard drive end giving 300gb leaving 450gb main partition...i don't see point in using space on hd when i'm going use snow leopard...i don't mind little bit of lag when use it...so, first, possible? second, ideal? have of run os off firewire drive? unbearable? or ok? in advance!

yep, works great. problem fw drives don't spin on power have plug in after option key shows boot drives.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
