MBP + Samsung Monitor = Monitor keeps cycling on and off during display sleep

i have 2011 mbp13, , have hooked via genuine apple mini dp dvi adapter samsung p2770hd monitor.

when display sleeps, samsung monitor sleep cycles on , off repeatedly displaying words "no input signal" when on, entire day/night. mbp lcd stays off. cannot figure out wrong, did try monitor on , works fine. think compatibility issue samsung monitor getting along mbp, since samsung monitor worked fine when hooked desktop pc.

have idea or similar experience in can fix problem?
contacted samsung , had no suggestions.

i'm having exact same problem. have same samsung display. have 2011 15'' mbp hooked via dvi connection p2770hd.

monitor sleep, cycles between sleep , "no signal". i'm not lcd expert imagine cannot display.

must issue monitor or maybe drivers correct, there's no mac drivers on samsung's site.

i'm planning on returning mine costco got it, unless has solution. apple's thunderbolt display looking more , more appealing ;)

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
