i'v tried searching , can find key logger's on macs people saying can't them via virus, has have been done directly computer.
2 weeks ago checked email account haven't opened in while , had email online game, opened , looked genuine clicked link on not thinking, opened webpage shut down. ( dumb thing email isn't used game account don't know why went through it).
read phising , came understanding , details can taken if comes fake page enter user , pass. in case found free mac virus scan , found nothing on scan. thought end of it...
logged in game yesterday find has changed password. don't know @ stuff, must of been keylogger? can't see other way.
downloaded "little snitch" see if see out of ordinary going on ( though don't have clue i'm looking for). along lines of baymsg(numbers).gateway.messenger.live keeps popping up, official hotmail or else?
have formatted harddrive , re-installed, , baymsg thing still popped when went on hotmail.

don't reuse passwords.
make sure use secure password.
secure passwords contain @ least 8 characters @ least 1 character upper case alphabet, lower case alphabet, numbers, , symbols.
example, go@wow76
make sure use secure password email account can used reset other account passwords.
never log accounts links contained in emails, email attachments, instant messages, & etc if certificate appears legitimate.
never log accounts don't use encrypted logins while using public wireless networks.
possible web app related online account game contained vulnerability allowed web app compromised without clients' machines being involved. if case, there nothing client (online account holder) can prevent account being compromised.
type of account hacking due keyloggers regardless of os being used victim.
