Can I use iOS 5 w 10.6.8 and get iCloud later ?

to clear - don't want upgrade lion break several important apps buy 4s iphone. if wait rumoured 10.6.9 icloud-friendly update current syncing work ? (i sync ical, google calendars & pocket informant 3 ways between 3gs , intel imac).

ok not activate icloud i.e. not make icloud account yet, , use 4s restoring 3gs back-up (given couple of apps on phone might fail)

jeez - me or upgrade paths getting very..errrr...microsoft-like
 

as understand it, icloud 1 option syncing in ios 5 not forced use it. functionality of other options, short of specific applications no longer working in ios 5, should not change.

i'm not 100% sure since haven't tried or read others doing it, ios 5 upgrade not icloud or vice versa. icloud separate item functionality ingrained in ios 5, other options icloud within ios 5, ones using, have not been removed or blocked.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
