Hotel sharing internet from wifi to wifi in Lion

i've scoured posts here regarding lion , various wifi connection problems. appear involved ethernet or xboxes, neither of applies in case.

hotels stay in have switched ethernet wifi in rooms, soooo....my usual airport express game plan doesn't work (crud).

means have connect macbook air hotel network wirelessly (paid). plan set password protected wifi internet sharing on mba ipad can online (without having pay second connection).

went system prefs > sharing > internet, there isn't wifi option; wifi:

sharing>missing wifi option.jpg

(probably goes without saying, turning internet sharing on doesn't change list of available options.)

gotta have outbound wifi option ipad connect. bluetooth pan doesn't work (not mention cuts out chance of password protection).

help, anyone...? in advance!
 

you can share internet if use different connection. wi-fi wi-fi not work, nor ethernet ethernet. can go ethernet wi-fi or wi-fi ethernet.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
