afternoon all,
i'm having problems getting sky anytime+ work on network , hoping might beable help, perhaps i've missed out setup.
my setup
have disabled wifi , dhcp on sky broadband router (which sagam), using ethernet modem connected base station extreme through wan port.
rooms in house have ethernet wall plate runs cat 6 cable patch panel , gigabit switch in cupboard under stairs. base station connected switch , provides wifi access macbook , iphone. acts dhcp server , provides connected devices ip address range have configured.
base station set shared internet connection , have guest network switched on too. both internal private network , guest network have wpa2 security switched on , each device has added times access section mac address , have registered mac addresses of each device on network specific ip address.
sky+ hd box can find network settings without problems (dhcp on, should be?). also, broadband , ethernet settings on under settings well.
so, me seems configured correctly still can't receive anytime+.
doing wrong? can because sky support can't figure out , i'm begining pull hair out one.
in advance,
i purchased timecapsule , draytek 120 v2 replace existing adsl / wi-fi router.
i'm guessing sagam not acting modem , still acting router , extreme, double nat taking place.
draytek converts adsl ethernet , set adsl username , password under pppoe settings on timecapsule / extreme.
