Problems installing snow leopard

i replaced hard drive in 2007 macbook , ordered copy of snow leopard. disc here , not install. can disk utility , checks out fine , once installation process begins freezes @ different times freezes before install completes.
appreciated.

p.s. brand new disc never been used. tried cleaning no avail. don't use superdrive did not notice problems before hard drive failed.

got 1 report after froze , first line said effect of unable install because disc read only

wierdest thing happened. on phone apple tech , writing down event log unable install mac os x , computer flashed blue screen registration started , running snow leopard 10.6.3.( disc) appears fine. apple tech stumped why said unable install left screen on event log 10 min , booted up. weird.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
