Better to drop a MacBook Pro than a MacBook?

occurred me 1 point apple never use sell computers, should considered when buying, it's better drop computer aluminum enclosure hard plastic one.

due varying kinds of klutziness, i'd i've dropped mbp 6 times since 2006, while it's on, while it's off, , somehow, nothing internal got screwed up. no hard drive corruptions, airport card cracks, logic board damage. i'll bet lot of has enclosure -- namely, aluminums ability dent, considerably lessons impact , absorbs shock of fall. yeah, bottom pan looks terrible, that's not terrible price pay if keeps guts of comptuer intact. (kind of crumple zone of car)

friend of mine dropped white macbook a1181. had put sleep, apparently hard drive still spinning, because it's totally corrupted. , of course, plastic looks great -- no dents, no cracks.

i'm thinking it's far better have computer that'll dent in fall 1 that's got rock solid, undentable case absorbs no shock whatsoever. people drop laptops time -- think when buying, suppose.

orrrrrr wrong in thinking? , if so, why?

i don't drop macbook pro time.

in fact, i've never dropped it.
