Screen is black and stays this way

i switched off jailbroken ipad 1 @ 4.2.1 other day , since screen stays black. can still ssh it, can use itunes, can build , run new apps xcode. looks alive screen not turn on. tried restart (by holding both power , home button 10 seconds). restarts nicely screen - again - black. when press power button , try move (of course not visible) slider nothing happens either. me looks whole display , touchscreen dead.
try drain ipad battery whole system gets shut off due lack of power fear not bring display life either.

have idea how bring display life? can not re-install ios because have no shsh's 4.2.1 , need version because last version allows me use xcode debugging via wifi. , can not send apple repair because definitively not leave jailbroken 4.2.1 on device replace latest ios version cannot use wifi debugging :(

suggestions can try here?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
