iOS5 and iPod Touch 3rd Gen Issue

i have 3rd generation ipod touch. 8gb. restored factory settings (4.2.1) , upgraded itunes 10.5. hit check updates , there no 5. downloaded ios5 link , attempted manually restore , update it. itunes says ipod cannot updated because firmware not compatible.

apple site states 3rd generation ipod compatible. missing something?

yes missing something

when ipod touch got updated third time 8gb model remained same 2nd generation, 32 , 64gb models new(3rd gen).

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
