Moving from original iPhone to 4S. Just backup one and restore to other?

like title says. want make sure simple backing old iphone (over 4 year old 1st gen iphone) , restoring backup iphone4s. correct?

don't want screw 1 since first "upgrade" new phone since purchasing 1st gen iphone.

advice stupid question.
 

not worry. should described. sync , make sure have backup. connect new phone, set up, take itunes on offer restore backup. once restore done it'll start sync apps , media. interrupt sync , turn on wifi syncing. unplug, start wifi sync , walk around giggling schoolgirl, using new 4s while syncs in background.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
