Internet connection problem

hi all.

bought imac 21,5" 2,5 ghz (spring 2011 model) recently, lion preinstalled. great machine, can't seem internet connection. wireless verrrryyy slow or not working @ te beginning. physical connection (ethernet) worked few day's, 1 morning stopped working.

called apple support, tried lots of things, no luck. took store, internet connection worked (both wifi , ethernet). @ home, ipad , girlfriends' macbook air have no problem @ connecting internet. imac doesn't. no wifi or ethernet, although says there connection.

setup: modem/router internet provider 1 cable directly imac , 1 cable second (older) modem/router better wifi signal. ipad , macbook air on second router. tried connecting imac cable second router, still nothing.

must settings problem, because other devices make connection , imac works fine in store. had idea?

in advance,
joris

question, did power modem , router off unplugging them both? if not, go preferences. network on imac , delete wireless network listed. shut down imac. power off modem , router unplugging them. let sit few minutes. power modem. wait minute or 2 , power wifi router. power imac , add wifi network again.
