Best Lion Compatible Backup Software?

this first mac, macbook air 13" running lion. i've been researching backup software other timemachine , know other mac users like. because it's air, backup hardware options external usb 2.0 hard drive, external usb 2.0 dvd drive, , usb 2.0 flash drive.

research has left me chronosync vers.4.2.3 lion compatible (from www.econtechnologies.com). hear other users' opinions of app -- , bad -- suggestions of other backup software.
 

why doesn't time machine work you?

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
