What CAN I do to my iMac 24"?

hey guys

own imac7.1 (mid 2007) 2,4ghz intel core 2 duo
4 gig memory, ati radeon hd 2600 pro 256 mb videocard
running lion.

bit frustrated photoshop , lightroom being tad slow. using photoshop adding filters , using bunch of layers.

wondering if tell me imac make bit faster/stronger.

somewhere read although 4gig ram max, 6 gig achieved using brand of memory?

also, ssd drives give me speed , power, noticable.
perhaps change processor? possible?

possible , worthy, please advise me.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
