Question about clean install of Lion on 2011 Mac Mini

i'm in process of planning out imminent mac mini server purchase. 1 thing new macs wipe disk , reinstall os fresh. because don't need or want bundled programs iphoto or garage band, , elect customize os x install make bit more trim (example: don't need other language localizations, nor need 3gb+ of printer drivers leopard had).

gets little more complicated lion. intend follow instructions posted elsewhere on saving downloaded installesd.dmg , putting on flash drive future use, i'm curious if internet-downloaded version of lion includes bundled programs iphoto, , if so, can elect not install them when installing os? don't want have them on there , rather not install them begin (deleting programs after-the-fact never clean).

[rant]seriously, totally botched system apple, , imo big step backwards previous os x releases. can understand wanting add new conveniences downloading new os internet , internet restore cases have internet connection no install disk, why remove or make difficult reinstall os using more traditional means? company supposed make simple, why need go through rigamarole self-installable os, instead of apple bundling flash drive or dvd new computers?[/rant]

i don't know if helps, noticed 'bundled apps" don't come pre installed. when first log in mini lion connects app sore download apps.

said, think can boot in recovery mode format primary partition , reinstall. don't know how save because lion dose not have lot of options during install.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
