OS X through the years and RAM

the ram requirements have gone 128 mb in cheetah 2 gb in lion.

imagine running cheetah on modern machine (assuming there x86 version), wouldn't scream?

anyhow, os x through makes more ram more necessary?

if strip away fancy graphics lion, able run on 128 mb?
 

i doubt it

the demands of today's apps issue. bought imac 8gb lot of intense video , photo work, upgraded 16gb week. if cheetah run, wouldn't able run else it.

Permissions Problem?

hello. unable log on computer. took mac store , said had problem permissions. reset computer's permissions , able log onto computer. however, since dock resets day had permissions problem. example, had various cs5 programs on dock. when upgraded cs5.5, replaced cs5 shortcuts cs5.5 counterparts. however, when restarted computer, cs5 icons still there. also, whenever restart computer, browser history resets whatever on day encountered permissions problem. can not save bookmarks. also, files required type in password whenever try moving or deleting file. there other problems wanted see if knows problem have before adding more problems. thank   Forums Macs macOS macOS iPhone Mac OS & System Software iPad Apple Watch Notebooks iTunes Apple ID iCloud Desktop Comput...

iPhone won't sync with iTunes
