Help with booting 10.5 install from USB


i have powerpc imac g5 10.4.11and need booting usb drive. disk drive isn't working got dmg file install disk.

looked @ tutorials everywhere , can't find helpful. know have set installation open firmware since powerpc doesnt support bootable flash drives. when open open firmware type in devalias list of connected drives/devices , whatnot, tutorials told me line starting word "ud" (i think usb device) on list has "ud" on it. there starting usb, i.e. usb1, or usb2, can't find "ud".

please me out here, need upgrade 10.5 can programs itunes 10 work on ppc on 10.5 osx.

help!
